Yup, no Latin today. i almost skipped my other classes today, but i went the whole two hours because i missed yesterday (i was sick). So, in my Ethics class, we began discussing the topic of abortion. The jury's still out, but it doesn't look like either of the extreme sides (the Natural Law Theory side taken by most right-wing religious groups and the Libertarian Choice taken by most feminists and left-wing everybodies).
Things are going pretty well as i have finished paying off the Summer tuition and have no major bills to pay in the next few weeks. Because i'm now working 4-5 days a week, i'm making around $300 a week in tips (and only about 25 hours at the $2.13 wage). i should be able to get the $1800 for the Fall semester in about 5 weeks, meaning that for the first time in about 2 years, i'll be making money to spend!!! i can see the hole in my pocket widening already (ok, maybe not).
i was speaking with one of my friends from up North (which is basically the rest of the USA) and she, along with some friends, are going backpacking in Europe next year after graduation…and i've been unofficially invited. i can't wait (although i'll have to for about 11 months). Being that i could not go to Austria for the year abroad, this will be a good way to make up that lost time in Europe. Heck, maybe i'll like it so much, i'll move there!
