Well, my site is operational. It may not be entirely pretty yet, but it will be. i will be (enevtually) moving my blog there. For all of my faithful readers, i now have a forum set up at my site as well. It’d be cool to check it out and register

Other than that, things have been going pretty well. A couple of my Philosophy professors have reviewed the rough draft of my thesis and commented positevely on it (yay!). i took the GREs this week and scored quite well. i have one more month of class this semester (yay!). On the downside of that, i have a 15 minute presentation on a work of art (preferrably visual) that must include a written defense of why that work of art IS a work of art (or a good work of art) which must contain a compare/contrast of two major philosophers of art. i also need to write a ten page term paper on Heidegger. i have been looking at comparing Kant’s schematism with Heideggers, or their views of temporality. Woo-hoo!

i’ve registered for my final semester. i’m taking Metaphysics, 19th Century German Idealism (focusing on Hegel), German Independent study (translating a work of Heidegger’s that has been previously untranslated:) ), Recent American History (needed for an upper-level class outside of my major), Intro to Shakespeare, and Physics (with lab).

Now that i have a car again, i’m definitely planning to move out of this house for next semester. i’m waiting to hear back from school because i applied to be an RA in the dorm. Otherwise, i’ll be moving into one of the on-campus housing units (they’re having a couple of special deals right now that may work out for me).

Life is good. In two weeks, i will be seeing my lovely girlfriend again. Yay!
