Thesis thoughts

My thesis proposal seminar is in the Spring quarter (April-June). i have been whittling down my area of choice slowly. Currently, i am looking into doing something with regards to Nietzsche, Heidegger, the Enlightenment, and postmodernism in their similarities to “Biblical” Christianity and how should their works be used to interpret doctrine in a postmodern, post-Christian world. i know that seems really long, so i will be whittling it down some more, but that is where i am heading. i may include Derrida and/or Deleuze as interpreters of Heidegger and Nietzsche (respectively), but i’m not sure i’ll have read enough for that. i’ve been really excited about my Philosophy class this quarter (After Postmodernism). We’re finishing up the MacIntyre book that i posted last time and it has been really great. It’s definitely recommended reading from me for anyone wanting to read/study/talk contemporary philosophy or theology.
