Well, it’s back to school for me. Tonight is the first night of my Recent Trends in Postmodernism course. My other regular class (Early Christian Old Testament Interpretation) meets on Monday nights (and this past Monday was a holiday). i’m also taking an independent study on Kierkegaard (that’s why my reading list was primarily Kierkegaard and i have a 20-page paper on the list).
It feels good to be back at home. i thought we could escape the warm weather (70s and 80s in New Orleans last week), but it’s still in the 50s and 60s here. The good thing is that our nights are cooler back in Denver. Our flight arrived in Denver last night at 10:40. It took us 40 minutes to get our luggage. Because of that, we missed the 11:15 bus back to the park-n-ride (which costs $10 per person). The next one came at 12:15 and we had to wake up at 6:45. So, we took a taxi. Costed $50. There’s my right arm.
Otherwise, things went pretty nicely. It was good to see our animals. We finally got home at 12:15 (glad we didn’t wait for the bus!) and unpacked a bunch of stuff and played with our pets. We finally got to bed around 2 am. So far today, it has been nice to play with my dog. He seems happy that we are back. Well, back to playing and unpacking!
