Finally, I have my computer off of ndiswrapper. A relatively new kernel module named bcm43xx covers the driver and firmware for most Broadcom wifi chipsets (possibly most popular PCI wifi cards like Linksys and many of the cheap ones). With this change, I can finally ditch some files I have had to keep for ndiswrapper (namely, the WinXP driver files). Additionally, I am able to re-enable the WPA security for router. I could not do this previously because the ndiswrapper/wpa_supplicant combo equaled no connection for me. Now, one less reason to not switch to Linux.
Update: Apparently Wordpress’s xml-rpc has been scrod. If using Performancing, the site has to be treated as a Metablog API, not Wordpress API to work.,
